An activity was organised for the students of class VI A to familiarise them with descriptive writing through a Hamburger writing template in which the format of Article writing was introduced in a manner that it becomes easy for students to understand and remember it all their life. All students were given an activity sheet with a hamburger printed on it, highlighting it's different layers. The top bun referred to introduction, the sauces stood for details, different vegetables were to show the different examples or statistical data, the cheese slices refe
rred to cheesy details to enrich the content and the bottom bun represented the conclusion. The activity has proved highly beneficial as students had a fun time, learning the new pattern.
