Proverbs are a short, well-known pithy saying, stating a general truth or piece of advice. To familiarise students with various Proverbs, their meanings and usage, an activity was organised for which students searched for some Proverbs, got them and some were given to them in the classroom. After discussing their meanings, students presented then on the form of a poster. It was done in groups of two.
