On the occasion of World Book Day, a ‘Book
Tasting party’ was organized by the students of class VIII – A (Primus) on 23rd
April, 2018. The aim behind the organization of the event was to sensitize
students towards the importance of books, the diverse range of needs they cater
to for every individual and the various genres of books. It helped the students
recognize the different genres and helped them to select the books that would
serve their interest. All the students of the Primus wing, from classes PS to
VII, were invited to the party through invitation cards and every student became
a very enthusiastic part of it. They all cherished going through the wide range
of books.
The venue was decorated with various
quotations put all around the room, describing the value of books and of
reading.
