With the theme of ‘Bharat Positive’, Maverik Ventures, in association with Fever 104 FM, conducted the Rounds 1 and 2 of the Speaker of the Year challenge at D.A.V. Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave, New Delhi, on Thursday, 16th November 2017.  The ideology behind was to bring students from different backgrounds together on a platform wherein they get equal opportunity to express their ideas and thoughts. Throughout the process, students gave innovative ideas on the issues like Armed Forces, the Education System, Traffic Pollution and Air pollution.
Round 1 was the Personal Interview round and Round 2 was the Speak Shoot round.
Both the rounds were recorded, giving students a new exposure of its kind and making them more confident. The qualities of a good orator were thus nurtured in the students in a very friendly manner, giving them a life-time experience. Tripti Deol of class VIII-A Primus, won the first prize and Pooja Angnani of Class IX won the second prize in the High School Champ category.  In the Junior Champ Category, Mehul Dahiya of VII-A Primus won the first prize and Samridhi Dewan of VII-A Primus won the second prize. Kanan Jain of VII won the third prize and Delisha Kumar of VII-A Primus won the fourth prize. 
The semi-final and the final rounds of the Speaker Of The Year were conducted at the National Science Centre, Pragati Maidan, on Sunday, 18th February, 2018. The sessions were judged by Ms. Shweta Jha from Aaj Tak, Brigadier Atul Dev and the R.J.s from Fever 104 FM. 8 students from D.A.V. Pushpanjali made it to the semi-final round of Panel Discussion in the Junior Champ and High School Champ category. Mahul Dahiya of class 7th – A – Primus, made it till the final round and won the Speaker of the Year award under the Junior Champ Category for the imaginative and unique ideas he presented in the JAM Session in front of hundreds of people and participants from different schools all over India.
