Gwalior trip 28-29 October 2017

Gwalior: a city in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, is known for its palaces and temples, including the Sas Bahu Ka Mandir, intricately carved Hindu temple. Ancient Gwalior Fort occupies a sandstone plateau overlooking the city and is accessed via a winding road lined with sacred Jain statues. Within the fort’s high walls is the 15th-century Gujari Mahal Palace, now an archaeological museum.

The students of DAV Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave, Pitampura, went on a trip to the historical city and basked in its rich cultural glory. They got to see the historical sites and the enrapturing views of the place with a narration of the stories behind them, and their relevance. Not to miss, the lavish food was also an ever-so-tempting temptation for the students. Everything, including the train journey and the hotel stay, the sound and lights show in the voice of the cine maestro Mr. Amitabh Bacchan and the DJ Night, held students' interest and they all left with countless cherish-able memories of the place. They also learnt many new things during the two days' visit, which shall definitely help them throughout their life.
