Each group had to select the representatives of their choice who came forward to first recite the assigned stanza and then explain it to the entire class. The last group was supposed to answer several questions based upon their understanding of the poem. The activity helped students develop their speaking, comprehending and understanding skills and also instilled confidence in students.
