The Future Teacher

 The Future Teacher

Sitting in my chair and thinking of the phrase 'The Future Teacher' I just realized, how have the dimensions changed from our past. The teacher today is so different from the teacher we were yesterday. Suddenly we have become so fast forward in technology that we need to struggle with technology every single day and actually make it a part of our everyday life. Not just grasping it but also sharing it with the students is the task.

What does Future has in its womb?

Future definitely is hidden but it surely is challenging. To match the pace and to deliver content in a manner that it benefits students and also keeps them up-to-date with the wonders of technology, without compromising on their engagement with the content, a teacher has to definitely use a variety in the lessons and make them interesting. Facing the Corona times, a teacher must do something that opens up doors for the students to explore the real world while still sitting in their comfort zones.

What all can I add to the lesson?

There is a certain connection that students have with the teacher writing on the board so why not make it available even online? Whiteboards are a very easy solution for this traditional question. Teachers can go on using augmented reality and not just the usual youtube videos for reference to make it easier for a child to understand and experience the world. Talking to students is important too, and giving them opportunities to participate to speak and express themselves.

Also, dear teacher, it is very important for you to make some space for yourself, meditate and relax because you are the driving force and you must keep on going.
