Class 6's Shape Poem/Story Activity

Students composed poems / stories and wrote them in the shape of a snake to form a Shape poem. They came up with interesting ideas and creativity presented their creations.

As a part of the International Education Week, with the theme of 2018 being 'Be International', a Quiz based on languages around the world was conducted in the class today. Students got knowledge of the facts related to various languages and the importance of Language and the use of different languages.

Inter-House Hindi Speech Competition - Class 8 A

An Inter-House Hindi Speech Competition on the topic ‘Significance and relevance of Diwali’ was conducted amongst the students of class 8th A on 2nd November 2018. The competition was judged on the basis of the content spoken, the confidence of the speaker and the overall presentation of the speech of all individual students. The best speaker from every house was awarded. The competition aimed at enhancing the speaking skills of the students as well as to evoke the true meaning of the festive spirit. Students came up with astonishing presentations and enthralling ideas that they incorporated in their speech.

Class 6 Activity on Story composition

Students of class 6 were divided into groups and each group was given a line to start their story with. Every group got 10 minutes to Compose the story and 2-3 minutes for narrating it to the rest of the class. Students came up with interesting and unique ideas, adding humour, horror and several other elements to their story.
This activity aimed at developing the creative thinking ability and speaking skills of the students, at the same time encouraging social bonding and planning together.
